How ordering on Sokommerce works

   Pick your items and the quantity

   Every product shows a minimum (usually 10 or 20 pieces) and a price table. The more pieces of one item you take, the lower the price per piece. You can mix several items in one cart.

   Pay once on M-PESA

   At checkout you get an M-PESA request on your phone. Check that the name shown is A&K Worldwide Enterprises, enter your PIN, done. The M-PESA Paybill is shown at checkout. Orders that are not paid within 48 hours are cancelled automatically.

   We buy, import and clear the stock

   Items marked “In stock in Nairobi” are ready within 2 days. Items marked “Arrives in …” are bought from our supplier after you pay and come by air; the expected number of days is on every product. Duty, VAT and clearing are already in your price.

4. 4

   Collect in Nairobi CBD

   We send you an SMS when your order is ready. Come to Sokommerce pickup desk, Nairobi CBD (Set the exact building, floor and shop number in Admin → Settings, Nairobi), Mon–Sat 9:00–18:00, with your order number and the 4-digit pickup code. Count and check your pieces at the desk, then go and sell.

Minimum quantities and price tiers

We buy in bulk from the manufacturer and split the shipment between many resellers. That is why each item has a minimum, and why the price drops at bigger quantities. The price per piece you see in the cart is the final price for that quantity.

What is inside the price

• The product itself, bought from our supplier
• Freight to Kenya and import duty
• VAT and customs clearing
• Transport to our pickup desk in Nairobi CBD

Nothing is added at pickup. Only if you want your parcel sent upcountry do you pay the courier yourself at their office.

If something is wrong

• A piece is damaged or not as described: show us at the desk and we replace it or refund that piece to your M-PESA.
• We cannot deliver your order: you get the full amount back to the M-PESA number you paid from.
• Your order is more than 30 days later than the date we gave you: you may cancel and get a full refund.
• Refunds reach your M-PESA within 3 working days.

Receipts and tax invoices

Every paid order has a receipt in your account that you can print or save as PDF. If your business needs a KRA eTIMS tax invoice, ask for it at pickup or on WhatsApp.
