How to pay safely
Scammers copy shop names and photos on WhatsApp and Facebook. These checks take ten seconds and protect your money.
The four rules
- Check the name before you enter your PIN. On the M-PESA prompt and in the confirmation SMS the name is A&K Worldwide Enterprises. If you see a person's name, stop.
- We never ask you to pay to a personal number or a different till. The M-PESA Paybill is shown at checkout, or you pay from the M-PESA request that our checkout sends to your phone.
- We have one WhatsApp number: +971 50 236 9167. We never send you a new number to pay to, and we never ask for your M-PESA PIN or the codes Safaricom sends you.
- Order on sokommerce.com. Check the address bar. Prices and order status are always in your account on this website, not only in a chat.
Our only official pages
If something feels wrong
- Message us first on +971 50 236 9167 or write to support@sokommerce.com. We confirm within opening hours whether a message or number is ours.
- Forward suspicious SMS to 333 to report fraud to Safaricom.
- If you sent money to the wrong number, forward the M-PESA confirmation message to 456 to ask Safaricom for a reversal, as fast as possible.
Nobody from Sokommerce will ever ask for your PIN, ask you to “send back” money paid by mistake, or ask for an extra fee to release your order.
